Florence M. Bossi, 86, of Maybury Street, Cumberland and formerly of Pawtucket, died Monday April 21, 2008 at the Memorial Hospital of RI in Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Domenic Bossi. Mrs. Bossi was born in the Albion section of Lincoln, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Rose Marie (Trudell) Turgeon. She was an assembler at the former Royal Electric for over 34 years. Mrs. Bossi leaves a son, Thomas Simpson and his wife Candice, with whom she resided, in Cumberland, a daughter, Dorraine O’Brien of Zephyrhills Florida, a sister, Jeannette Masio and her husband Tony, a brother Leo Turgeon and his wife Beverly of South Elgin, Illinois, 8 grandchildern, Scott, Kevin, and Kelli Simpson, Deborah Philpotts, Bonnie Dodge, Cami, Nicole, and Michael Bossi 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alice Cauley, Napoleon Jr., Jack, Al, Henry,Wilfred, and Arthur Turgeon, and the stepmother of Andrea and Paul Bossi. Mrs. Bosssi was an avid Bingo player and a member of the Cumberland Senior Center. The funeral service for Mrs. Bossi will be Friday at 10:00am in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Burial will be with her husband in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter RI. The calling hours for Mrs. Bossi will be Thursday, 4-7pm in the funeral home.
